Never Alone

Okay, guys. Before I get the to actual purpose of this post, I have some things to tell you about this blog.

1. I am going to try to make the titles of my posts the same as a title of a song.
2. I am going to try to post at least one picture or video along with each post.

There you go. And so I continue. "Never Alone" is a song by the Christian band BarlowGirl. (Click here to listen to the song.) This song reminded me of how I'm never alone, because God is always by my side. Another thing that reminds of this marvelous fact is a necklace I received from my aunt for my 8th grade graduation. There are pictures of the necklace at the bottom of this post. I am giving this piece of jewelry symbolism. The pendant--which is a tree--represents my life. Do you see how there is a hole in the middle where the branches come out of? That hole in the middle stands for Jehovah (or the hole that He fills in my heart). The branches are my goal in life: to bear fruit for the Lord. Like Jesus says in John 15:4, "Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me...", someone must remain "in" Jehovah if he or she wants to bear fruit. Sure, the symbolism isn't perfect, but I still think that this is a good reminder of how the Lord always watching me, and I need to do what glorifies Him in all I do and say.
