I just got back from my class' tour. Including Washington - our home state - we went to a grand total of eight states in eight days. (We were supposed to be home in seven days, but the flight was delayed.) The states were: Washington (of course!), Illinois (we had a stopover in Chichago), Virginia (Yorktown and many other places), District of Columbia (which really isn't a state, but our capitol is located there), New Jersey (where we stayed while we visited New York), New York (Statue of Liberty, Broadway - Mary Poppins, Fifth Avenue, Central Park, etc.), Colorado (another plane stopover), and Pennsylvania (where we toured the Gettysburg battlefield). It sure was an adventure! Since our plane was delayed, we didn't catch the plane to Seattle. So we stayed in the Chicago O' Harre Airport! The floor wasn't very comfortable to sleep on, that's for sure! But it was still very exciting to me.

Sounds like fun! What was your favorite thing on the trip? My favorite thing when I went was probably touring the gardens of the White House, staying in Atlantic city, or the Lincoln memorial.
Ben, I liked New York the best, even though I didn't go shopping. You got to tour the gardents of the White House? Lucky!
Great work.
