A Haiku for You

Today, we wrote haiku, triplets, and limericks. This is my haiku about apple blossoms. The only time I've seen apple blossoms (I think) is when my class when to Washington D.C. and the apple trees were in bloom. Anyway, here goes:

Apple Blossoms
Swaying in the wind,
The precious blossoms whisper,
Gently on your cheek.

Kayla, nice haiku! We had to do haikus in history class about a month ago. They are fun to write, but sometimes it's hard to come up with ideas to write about. BTW, I don't have any pets, but I used to have fish. I really wish that I could have a dog, but my mom is allergic to dogs that shed and we really can't afford a dog that doesn't shed right now.

Thanks, Chelsea! Really? That stinks that your mom is allergic. I really want to own a Pomeranian when I am older.

Pomeranians are sooooooooooooo cute! That would be so awesome if you could get one. My favorite color is blue, by the way. That was kind of a stupid question to ask you because you already said what your favorite colors were in your profile, but oh well. When is your last day of school? Mine is June 12th and I am soooooo excited for summer vacation!

I know! I love them! Cool. LOL My last day of school is June 11th. I can't wait!

Please pray for me, Kayla! I have a speech that I have to make at school and I am very nervous.

Kayla D. said...

I will, Chelsea! Good luck!

Thanks for your prayers, Kayla! My speech went pretty well, but I think that I may have forgotten something and I was very nervous. This week I am doing achievement tests at school. It is very fun and so much better than regular work! Do you have achievement tests at your school?

Kayla D. said...

That's great that the speech went well! Cool. We finished doing ITBS testing last week.

Chelsea said...

What is ITBS testing? Is that anything like achievement tests?

Kayla D. said...

Well, they're standardization tests. You fill in the dot next to the answer that you think is the best. I guess it is....
